Personally, I love chairs, especially Art Deco chairs. There`s just a certain je ne c'est quoi about the sweeping lines, curved corners and zebra skin that just makes me swoon. French Art Deco chairs especially feature beautiful reeded legs and splayed back legs. Often original Art Deco chairs are recovered and refinished in order to restore their previous glory.
Sometimes, the reupholster job isn't worth it. Sometimes, a collector needs a piece so bad that they don't need an original. Go with a reproduction of that Italian Deco chair! Even look on eBay. You just might find what you're looking for.
